Lighting Food with Lowel EGO |
|
Equipment Used: 2 Lowel EGO (desktop digital imaging softlights)
I'm currently working on my first cookbook, to be released next year...and I'm taking on the challenge of taking all my own food photos. I'm not a professional photographer...you are going to laugh...when I started taking food photos, I used the "auto no flash" setting or the "P" setting and the wheely dial thingamajigger. (ok. stop laughing now!!) But the Lowel EGO lights have been my savior. The photos come out beautiful, natural and I didn't have to invest thousands of dollars in lighting. The food look as if bathed in natural light. And yes, I still use the "P" setting and the wheely. |
