Lowel Light, the World Leader in Location Lighting, has unveilled its economical e-studio line of non-dimmable
studio fluorescent fixtures. They are designed for those who need an efficient soft light source, in tungsten
or daylight color temperatures, with long lamp life & without the heat buildup (or budget buildup).
3 models, housing 2, 4, or 6 T-55 watt lamps, with a collection of light control accessories, and a uniqe
stand or lighting grid mounting system based on the popular & versatile Lowel Caselite.
In other fluorescent news, the dimmable models of the Lowel Fluo-Tec studio line continue to advance the state
of the art, with an electronics upgrade that now allows full dimming control from 0 - 100%. Also, up to 512
dimmable fixtures can now be controlled by the compact, hand-held, wireless IR DMX Controller for console free remote dimming.
New Kits & Cases... New upgrades to many Lowel hard & soft cases, by the addition of modular velcro partitions,
have paved the way for even more variety in kit combinations. The past year has seen the release of over a dozen
new kits, many of which have been created especially for the DV run & gun shooter. A number of them combine
lights from different Lowel systems and many feature the new compact 250w Rifa-44 60 second setup soft light.
There are also larger, more elaborate kits to accommodate more sophisticated lighting situations.
In addition, a majority of the pre-existing kit line has been completely revamped, with the addition of light
control & mounting accessories. Almost all Lowel kits now come with lamps of recommended wattage's. Many
feature the new Uni TO Stand, the latest in the updated line of Lowel Stands.
