Lowel, the Academy Award winning world leader in location lighting for film & video, introduces a selection of new Kits, Kit case options, and Accessory Paks for their versatile Rifa^TM eXchange^TM System.

The new Rifa eXtra/Flo Kits add accessory lampheads & daylight fluoresent lamps to Rifa eX models & stands. The rest of the Rifa eX Kit line has been expanded to add larger case options to each kit, with room to drop in one or more of the new Rifa eX Accessory Paks. The Accessory Paks combine quick change lampheads with lamps & lamp cases. There are also 2 new eXchange Accessory Kits, in hard & soft case options, containing selections of accessory heads, lamps, & lamp cases. They are an accessory option to carry along with any kit containing a Rifa eX Kit (for example, a DV Creator Kit).

The Lowel Rifa^TM eXchange^TM System (Rifa eX) is a set of 4 updated RifaÕs that replace the original models while greatly expanding their versatility. Each model of Rifa eX comes with a standard lamphead that uses the same Rifa lamps as always. The twist is literally that the lampheads can quickly swap for accessory heads, with a push & a twist. The new accessory lampheads take screw-threaded daylight fluorescent lamps, single or in cluster, as well as lower wattage & lower voltage tungsten-halogen & incandescent lamps. Now, larger models of Rifa can use lower wattage lamps for reduced output with the same beautiful Rifa softness.
